Die casting is appropriate when a component needs complex geometry, good repeatability, and production economics at volume. Design review focuses on wall transitions, draft, ribs, gates, ejector locations, machining allowance, and which surfaces require post-cast finishing.nnThe final part may combine casting, secondary CNC machining, tapping, deburring, impregnation, and coating. Coordinating those steps around the functional datums produces a component that is ready for assembly.
